SENIOR PROJECT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - DATA CENTRE PROJECTS - DUBLIN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client provides mechanical and electrical consultancy services to
the residential, commercial, micro-electronic, healthcare, municipal,
educational, sports & leisure, high tech and pharmaceutical sectors.
As one of our Senior Electrical Project Engineers you will lead Data
Centre projects in EMEA.
It will be second nature to you, to manage project delivery from
conception all the way through to completion / client handover.
Confidently managing and growing relations with accounts. Your
expertise will expand beyond just the electrical field, also including
BMS/EPMS, Security and CSA.
Excelling at project design planning to meet client expectations. You
will also manage a team of support engineers, mentoring them in their
professional development.
With that will come the responsibility of ensuring all deliverables
from the team align with our quality assurance systems prior to
handover.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree or Diploma (Building Services/Electrical Engineering)
8+ years of experience in electrical building services design
Deep understanding of CIBSE, BS, IS and EN Standards
Working knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCad and REVIT
Knowledge of other engineering analysis software is an advantage
Lead projects with minimal input from the management team
Experience leading & coordinating a team in the successful delivery of
projects
Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers
Drive for continuous innovation and adoption of emerging technologies
Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
Your day-to-day activities:
Lead Electrical Services design on projects from concept stage to
completion
Specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems
Continuous Design & Installation Quality Checks and Control
Provide fully detailed tender packages / Tender report / analysis /
recommendations
Develop project scope with design team / client
Uphold the Electrical design standards within the organisation
Mentoring of engineering staff
